Gorgeous photo and as close as I want to come to a mouthful of bugs!
Thanks Wisconsin Birder!
Feeding the young. There was another one that had a mouthful of grubs and caterpillars, but I didn’t get a photo of it.
Great shot. Whew. In a world covered in white, I needed that.
Thanks Bevson!
It won’t be much longer til spring, a least we are over the hump.
Beautiful photo great detail.
Thanks Neil!
Spectacular photo.! I’ve always marveled at that species name and wondered who it was that thought they were “common” in any meaning of the word.
Thank you Vickie!
It does have a yellow throat. But you are right, there seems to be nothing common about this beautiful species.
Wow John! A truly incredible capture of the Common Yellowthroat! I can count the feathers on his head, and the bokeh is wonderful. This photo makes me feel as if I am in the rain forest.
Thanks Larry!
I wasn’t too sure about the way I cropped it, but I like it.
The lens that I have and the camera settings that I use ensures the sweet bokeh.
